American Ghost Walks, a leading provider of ghost tours and paranormal experiences, is thrilled to announce their upcoming appearance on the hit TV show Shark Tank and their special Halloween-themed episode ,  “Sharkoween”. The episode featuring American Ghost Walks is scheduled to air on Friday, October 27th, on ABC Television.

American Ghost Walks offers unique and immersive ghost tours in 25 haunted locations across the United States in seven states and Puerto Rico. With a team of experienced storytellers and paranormal enthusiasts, they provide captivating and spine-chilling experiences for both believers and skeptics alike.

Appearing on the show will be company owner, Mike Huberty and his sister, Allison Jornlin, who is a tour developer for the company and a haunted history enthusiast as well. 

Allison Jornlin founded Milwaukee's original ghost tour in 2008 and her brother Mike followed suit with the original Madison Ghost Walk in 2010. While living in Minneapolis in 2015, he realized that the Twin Cities didn't have a haunted history tour to showcase the amazing legends of downtown Minneapolis. Since founding the original Minneapolis Ghost Walk in 2015, the company expanded to St. Paul, Red Wing, and Stillwater as well. Soon after, they expanded in Wisconsin by deveoping tours in Lake Geneva, Waukesha, and the Wisconsin Dells.

However, dreaming of locations that aren't restricted by the frigid winters of the Upper Midwest, American Ghost Walks launched a haunted history tour in beautiful San Juan, Puerto Rico in January of 2020. Later that year, Jornlin developed a walking tour of Lahaina on Maui that ran daily until the tragic August 2023 wildfires closed that down. They are currently working on redeveloping another Maui tour and also offer daily tours of Hilo on the Big Island.

While growing up in Milwaukee in the 80s, they would listen to Richard Crowe, Chicago's ghost hunter and one of the founders of haunted history tourism, so it was exciting when American Ghost Walks purchased Chicago Hauntings from leading Windy City researcher, Ursula Bielski, who has been a Chicago mainstay for decades. They are the oldest running Chicago haunted history tour and the Chicago Hauntings crew became part of American Ghost Walks in 2021 along with Diane Ladley's Haunted Hometowns company, which brought in the Chicago suburbs.

Also, that year they added Bayfield, Wisconsin as a location when ghost author Virginia Hirsch sold her haunted history tour company to American Ghost Walks. 

Soon after, the company was able to start doing tours in Maine with Sally Lobkowicz's Red Cloak Tours. Sally developed Red Cloak in the mid 2000's and they sold the largest haunted history tour company in Maine to American Ghost Walks team in early 2022. 

American Ghost Walks just began to offer tours in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2023 including the French Quarter and Garden District. In 2023, they also debuted Los Angeles' only haunted history bus tour, the Los Angeles Hauntings Ghost Bus which was developed by What's Your Ghost Story 's Scott Markus.

Shark Tank , the critically acclaimed reality show, provides aspiring entrepreneurs with the opportunity to pitch their business ideas to a panel of seasoned investors, known as "sharks." American Ghost Walks will present their innovative approach to ghost tourism, aiming to secure investment and further expand their reach.
