“Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the tour!” — Marty
Live events with The Lady in the Red Cloak!
Custom Virtual Storytelling
Are you self quarantining and want something unique to do? Is it too hot (or cold) for a walking tour? Have you hiked/kayaked all day and just want to kick back? Are you nervous about walking around on the sidewalks? Are the kids in bed early and you don’t want to watch reruns?
Red Cloak Tours can do a phone or zoom virtual event for you at your own home, hotel room, camp, picnic, etc.! Legends & Folklore of Maine, Lighthouses, Maine Ghost Stories, or just a little historical background of where you’re staying (or want to come to next year).
Just $19.99 for your own private storyteller/guide for about 45 minutes of fun Maine information.

Facebook Live Series
A fun, entertaining, educational series about various historical Maine places. If you couldn’t get to Maine this year due to COVID-19, these might give you a Vacationland fix! If you live in Maine, you’ll enjoy them, too! Each free event lasts about 30 minutes. Here is our Facebook link.
Who knows where we’ll end up every week! It will be somewhere in the Midcoast and it will probably have historical significance of some sort.
July 15 – August 19 at 4:00 p.m. ET
An exploration of some cemeteries in the Midcoast area to see what interesting carvings we can find or meaningful epitaphs, maybe some historic figures or interesting early settlers.
September 15 – October 20 at 4:00 p.m. ET
Our Fresh Air Friday Maine Woods Walks from the Spring are available here on Facebook. Since we couldn’t offer our Tidbit Tasting Tours this year, we showcase some Maine foods that are connected to the woods.
Sundays at the Shore Series is also available here. We explored a different section of Maine’s Midcoast shoreline every week, seeing what we could find on the “beach” or in the tidepools and learning a bit about that particular area’s history, industries, etc.
Here is the You Tube channel for our online magazine, Mysterious Destinations Magazine.
There’s no charge to join the fun for most of these, but any contribution you can make will be appreciated to help us sustain these events. Windward Enterprises is our corporation.
