Historic Maritime walking tours along the waterfronts of Bar Harbor or Boothbay Harbor.

Both tours are held several times per week at 4 pm. You may book below or call 207-380-3806.

Learn about the life and times of coastal Maine shore side villages from the 1600’s to the present as you walk in the footsteps of early sailors, fishermen and shipbuilders. The colorful maritime history will show you a side of the waterfront that you’ve never imagined.

The afternoon walks will cover local fisheries, maritime industries and shipbuilding. You’ll be shown how lobstering works, hear tales of rum-running, and have a chance to try some Sea Shanties! Lighthouses, pirates and even sea serpents are discussed as well.

The 90 minute walk is appropriate for all ages and these new, one-of-a-kind tours are by reservation only.
