Our priority is to ensure the safety of our guests and tour guides, so we are adhering to the guidelines of the State of Maine for Social Distancing. Learn more about the live TeleTours here. Especially in these times, our cancellation policy will remain as it’s always been – 100% refund if you let us know 2 hours before the tour. For now, we may only take Maine residents, or those who have quarantined for 14 days.

We will continue to offer custom tours or consultations by phone or zoom and Live Adventures in Discovery, which you can enjoy from your armchair!

Book Your Tour!
Historic Maritime walking tours along the waterfronts of Bar Harbor or Boothbay Harbor.

Both tours are held several times per week. We will have special tours scheduled for Windjammer Days in late June in Boothbay Harbor. You may book above or call 207-380-3806.

Learn about the life and times of coastal Maine shore side villages from the 1600s to the present as you walk in the footsteps of early sailors, fishermen, and shipbuilders. The colorful maritime history will show you a side of the waterfront that you’ve never imagined, including mysteries of the deep!

The afternoon walks will cover local fisheries, maritime industries, and shipbuilding. You’ll be shown how lobstering works, hear tales of rum-running and lighthouses, as well as learn about other waterfront industries/establishments. Mysterious shipwrecks, pirates & treasure, and sea serpents are also discussed.

The 90-minute walk is appropriate for all ages and these new, one-of-a-kind tours are by reservation only. Adult tickets are $17.50, children under 12 are $8 and children under 5 are free.
